"Ruined Cities within Numidian and Carthaginian Territories" really deserves to be better known as, until then, there was no description by any traveller of the ruined cities in Numidia, and in the territories of Tripoli and Pentapolis. This work is illustrated with four in-text and eight full-page steel engravings, as well as a folded map of Carthaginian and Numidian Africa. Book in good to very good condition. Inside binding shaky but all pages attached, llustrations and text clean and complete.
