Era il 1993. I Guns N' Roses, noto gruppo hard rock statunitense, erano attesi in concerto la sera del 2 luglio allo stadio di Cava de' Tirreni. Uno dei concerti più attesi nel capoluogo metelliano: i fan si precipitarono ad acquistare i biglietti, mentre il Comune era in piena organizzazione per accogliere il gruppo di Los Angeles.

Ma il 22 giugno, a pochi giorni di distanza dall'esibizione, arrivò una notizia che lasciò di sasso tutti i fan del gruppo. I Guns 'n' Roses si erano visti negare dal prefetto di Salerno l'autorizzazione a suonare il proprio repertorio metallico a Cava e, di conseguenza, il concerto era stato annullato.
A placare gli animi ci pensò la Barley Arts, organizzatrice del concerto, che diede l'opportunità ai fan del gruppo rock di cambiare i biglietti già acquistati con analoghi tagliandi per assistere alla data modenese del tour dei Guns, prevista per il 30 giugno allo stadio Braglia.

It was 1993. The Guns N' Roses, a well-known American hard rock band, were expected to perform on the evening of July 2nd at the stadium in Cava de' Tirreni. One of the most anticipated concerts in the capital of Metelliano: fans rushed to buy tickets, while the Municipality was in full swing organizing to welcome the Los Angeles group.

But on June 22nd, just a few days before the performance, news arrived that shocked all the fans of the band. Guns 'n' Roses had been denied authorization by the prefect of Salerno to play their metal repertoire in Cava, and consequently, the concert was canceled.
To calm the situation, Barley Arts, the concert organizer, offered fans of the rock group the opportunity to exchange their already purchased tickets for similar ones to attend the Modena date of the Guns' tour, scheduled for June 30th at the Braglia stadium.
