Tanacka Optik Tanack IV-S, with Tanar 2.850mm lens. Japan 1955.

1 EUR

The Tanack IV-S 35mm rangefinder camera is a rare Leica collector's item. Aesthetically, the camera shows only very small signs of use and is well preserved: there are no tears in the leather cover, no bumps and no major corrosion to the paint (just a little corrosion in one spot on the base plate). Tanaka Kogaku Tanar 2.8/50mm lens (working, with focus and aperture stopped on all stops) has a slight dent on the edge, has dust and other tiny substances inside as well (please note that this is an item that has been used for decades, and in practice, it is normal that there may be tiny substances and phenomena that are not immediately visible to the naked eye, please take them into account). Technically it must be said that the shutter speeds have not been verified and the roller shutter does not work correctly, ie part of the curtain moves and works with the shutter button, but sometimes it slides closing slowly in the final stretch or it doesn't slide completely remaining a little open; when this happens, the film transport will not work until the shutter is reloaded. This camera is almost never offered and is highly sought after by collectors. Camera has not been used with film. Finally, it should be noted that the photos are part of the description.
